“I’ve got a song I know you’ll love!” exclaimed our cheery hostess as she rushed from the kitchen to the stereo system. Barely three lines of the music had played and we were crowding around to hear every word.

 

Two weeks later, that same song, “God Wants to Hear You Sing,” was a perfect fit for the message to be shared in church that weekend. So, with a willing pianist, and four young men with a mission to share the gospel in music, this favourite of ours became part of our repertoire.

 

Our prayer today is that you will truly find new depth of experience in Christ as you make the messages of these songs your own. God wants to hear you sing! He’s big enough to bring good out of anything! Trust Him!
