God has always had a messenger. One after another has proclaimed God’s tidings to His creation. Noah. Moses. Daniel. Peter. Paul. John. What about our time here near the end of the world’s history? Has God provided a prophetic forerunner for us?

If the biblical record is correct, God does have an envoy for us today. God indeed provides for you and all of His people.

It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. (Acts 2:17)

How do we know if someone who claims to have prophetic abilities if truthful? Isaiah 8:20 speaks to this:

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
