Throughout the Bible we read many stories about how people fell from the grace of God. Once holy and pure, many have fallen victim to sin and lost the salvation that they could have received had they been obedient until the end. There are vital object lessons in the history of Israel that are applicable for us today. How can we avoid the sins of Israel that prevented the Israelites from entering the holy land? 

In this single sermon with pastor Andreas Mellas we will look to Numbers 13 and other texts to determine how God’s chosen people lost what they believed was owed to them. Might we too lose the holy land? What is required of us to gain paradise in Christ? Are we ready for the sacrifices involved with obeying Christ? 

We look at the character of Caleb and how he was a righteous man worth admiring. Let us use his life as an example of living completely for the Lord. Mellas will give us a dire warning against falling away from God, and outline what is involved - and the coming reward - when following God fully.
