Jeremiah was the prophet in Jerusalem at the time of its destruction by Nebuchadnezzar. The events in his time serve as a type for the events at the end of time in God’s Church. The message of Jeremiah was rejected by many, but not all. We are admonished in the Spirit of Prophecy to study the book of Jeremiah because it not only serves as a type of the condition of the children of Israel, but also is a type of the Three Angels’ Messages. The sword of the Word as wielded by Jeremiah is directed also to the nations around Jerusalem but being a double-edged sword, it also cuts on the inside.

This DVD is a call to the Jeremiahs of our age to stand firm against error and give the trumpet a certain sound. This lecture also includes a look at current world events surrounding the papacy: the Sabbath-Sunday issue, the coming economic collapse, the spirit of popery, and other political maneuverings that pertain to God’s people are discussed and linked to the typological life of Jeremiah.
