Hayley Shares Her Latest Report - May 2026

Hayley continues faithfully in literature evangelism work, sharing the precious truths of the three angels' messages with people she encounters in everyday life. In the letter below, Hayley shares a beautiful account of a divine appointment on a train, where God arranged for her to meet a searching soul and place The Great Controversy and Ministry of Healing into her hands. It's a wonderful reminder that when we surrender ourselves to God, He directs our steps and prepares hearts ahead of us.

Hayley writes -

Hello Steps to Life friends - Oh, what a mad world we live in!

With the madness that’s going on in this world today it is proof we need a Saviour. We need to praise our God for His wonderful blessings that we receive each day and for His bountiful providence.

How blessed are we to have the prophecies of the Bible revealed to us through the prophets as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

What is one of the signs of the remnant church? ……… That it will have a prophet!

Do we have a prophet? ..... We most certainly do! So why did God give us prophets through history? …… To sound the alarm, to sound the trumpet, to give the people the warning before it happened so they saw the things happening and they would believe. I believe God wouldn't give warning all throughout history and not now when we are facing the biggest spiritual battle that has ever been.

We live in a time where we need to be spiritually fit so we can fight the good fight and share the three angels messages with everyone we can. To help with this we have the spirit of prophesy books and access to fantastic sermons on current events and bible based prophesy in our home every day. If we keep God in the forefront of our minds and dedicate our lives to Him we will be in a good position to share the precious truth with our children our family our neighbours our colleagues and even with our church members who may not know the truth.

This world is coming to an end, everyone can feel that things aren't right, we have to warn the people we come into contact with and anyone who will listen. So how do we do this? Where do we even start? We are told through the spirit of prophecy to start with your family at home. This is the hardest of them all, and I am sure you have all tried. I am sure most of you have been told to leave that subject alone to some degree. I have personally been told to not give them books, etc, but always remember we can't do things in our strength, but God is in control and is there working out things behind the scenes. God does answer Prayers so keep praying and ask others to pray also.

I cherish the Bible stories we have been taught as children, stories of the faith and prayer like the stories of Joseph, Moses, Gideon, Daniel and Elijah, what an amazing responsibility they all had to face, but how amazing was the providence of God. We are weak vessels, but God is strong. God will walk with us and work through us to bring others to Him.

I know each week before I am going out to hand out books there is always something trying to keep me going forward to do the book work. I know I need to surrender to God and ask Him to work through me as I am weak and I need Him to work through me in His strength and His words to speak through me and I ask Him to send the people that He wants me to reach. God never lets me down!

A good example is when I caught the train the other week I had one minute to get the earlier train so I was racing up the platform and thought I wouldn't make the first carriage of the train where I normally sit as that is closer to the lift on the other end and is easier with the trolley. I got on the middle carriage as I had been told that this had extra area that I could put my trolley also. I at least made the earlier train and sat down and closed my eyes and was praying as the train left the station. A few minutes later we pulled into the next station, and I still continued to pray . I thought someone had sat next to me but wasn't sure so a few minutes later I opened my eyes and there was a lady next to me and said “hello”. She apologized for waking me up and I said that she hadn't and that I had been praying. Then she said she wanted to pray for me. So, I said are you a Christian and she said “well not really, I was bought up Catholic but don't believe that is right so not really”. I said straight away we were meant to sit together that day as neither of us normally catch the middle carriage and I had a couple of books to give her. We talked nonstop for at least 40 plus minutes until she had to get off at her stop. When I gave her the books tears were streaming down her face and she was so amazed that someone would talk with her on the train but even willing to give her something as she was so used to giving and being taken advantage of and not receiving. This lady was going through a very difficult time, and God had set up that encounter. The books I gave her just happened to be The Great Controversy as she had mentioned that she used to be a Catholic. The other book just happened to be Ministry of Healing. God had even chosen the books she needed before I realized. After speaking with her for a short time she bought out a book and took my name and phone number down as she had started to write down when people are nice to her for encouragement. I also gave her a path to peace before she got off the train.

I really look forward to these encounters that God has set for me. It is incredible being directed by God to be in the right place at the right time to fulfil his calling. It is an amazing blessing doing this work.
