Christ in the Psalms: His Passion for Humanity
(Gerald L Finneman - 127 pages)
Jesus made a long journey from heaven to earth to save us. The process which He put Himself into, through His incarnation, in itself must have been excruciating. The immortal God took upon Himself the mortality of man. He had to become one of us in order to save and to heal us. He was fully God and fully man. He was and is the God-man. Much has been written about His divine nature and its necessity in the plan of salvation. However, His humanity was also crucial to this plan. In order to die for the sins of the world Christ had to take upon Himself a nature capable of dying. This book sets forth Christ in His humanity crucified, resurrected, and ascended to heaven as the only One who is able to save, and by Whom we must be saved.
